I acknowledge that the land I work on is the traditional territory of many nations including the Mississaugas of the Credit, the Anishnabeg, the Chippewa, the Haudenosaunee, and the Wendat peoples, and is now home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples. I am grateful for the opportunity to work on this sacred land, which is part of an agreement between Indigenous peoples, and then extended to allied nations to peacefully and respectfully care for it.
