On this Waning Gibbous

Hi dear ones,

It's been a week after the Full Moon in Leo. We're in the Waning Gibbous phase, which means we aren't meant to push through. Even if our efforts aren't yielding the results we desire.

This time can sometimes have us feeling deflated or down. Especially given the political climate and everyday realities of our time. You might feel a dip in motivation and hope, even.

I myself am having a hard time pushing through. Not just because of this moment in the lunar phase, but the overall astrology that it mirroring so much intense things right now. There isn't time to process one thing fully before something else pops up that takes us even deeper into the collapse of this moment.

Some things are ending. No doubt about it. But the process of it will feel drawn out. We aren't dropping into an abyss of endings. We are watching the slow and steady process of an ending, while being called to grow new beginnings simultaneously. I know, it sounds chaotic and challenging. But here we are. Right when and where we are meant to be.

February is a crucial month in all of this. The astrology is turbulent with multiple planets squaring Uranus, as it sits in its last degrees of Taurus. This is a final reckoning with what has been quietly destabilizing beneath the surface for 7 years.

Also, we are less than 2 weeks from our first eclipse in the sign of Aquarius. It's a solar eclipse that kicks off a new lunar cycle (Feb 17), throwing us into a more accelerated pace right up to the equinox.

So yes, it may feel more chaotic this February. But not for nothing. This is a time to dissolve what has calcified within us: old narratives, our values, systems, economies, and identities are being tested against reality itself! What we've held on to out of habit, fear, or inherited belief is no longer holding.

The way we think, relate, act, and organize no longer fits the systems and structures that sustain us materially. We’re seeing ourselves differently. The myth of security is cracking before us, revealing where change is overdue. That's been the impact of Uranus in Taurus for the last 7 years. And it's ready to show us a new way forward at the end of April, when a new 7 year cycle begins in Gemini.

I know it's a lot. Believe me, I do.

We are facing multiple truths that require us to bend our minds, to stretch them beyond what we’ve ever imagined or comprehended prior to now. Both personally and collectively, we are entering a new era of existence as of February 20, when Saturn and Neptune conjoin at the 0 degree mark of Aries. A massive new start. A brand new trajectory.

The ground is shifting because it’s time. What’s real will root. What isn’t will inevitably release. And believe me when I say we are ready for it.

In the meantime, it's crucial to not get pulled into the brewing chaos around us.

We must make space to imagine a different future, but to build it in ways that can actually support life. It's imperative to stay rooted in this mission. To stay rooted in our heart and the divine.

Forces of chaos are working overtime to veer us off course by disconnecting us from our heart, from our truth, from reality.

We simply can't let that happen.
